Traveling Masters

The Masters Hall of Fame and Who's Who:

HOW TO promote a GREAT league that folded years ago?

By having it on my HOW TO website to show why it was GREAT!

It's a reminder of what a GREAT LEAGUE did to become GREAT and show ways to make your current league GREAT!

Only the best for some of the BEST!

By Alan Brizee (c)7/25/14  Author of The Path to Excellence and From Excellence to Success

Congratulations go out to these HIGHEST of the highest Avgs. bowlers:

Some of you probably thought I might have destroyed some of the bowler's record.

I still have binders with all nine 1/3 seasons in them. Because of the Traveling Masters

being the greatest league ever, I wanted to display all the super bowlers who were able

to record scores high enough to make any list on this webpage. Having all the stats from the seasons I was secretary of, shows how passionate I was about the league!

Masters Averages are for seasons 1991-92 through 2004-05 season. Five seasons

are the Tucson Bowl Masters ('91- '96) and the nine full seasons I was secretary of the

Vantage Lite Traveling Masters ('96- '05). I don't have final averages for 2005-06

through 2007-08 as I wasn't secretary the entire season. The year listed after their average is the year the season ended.

53 members made the list averaging 210 for at least one season. 32 of them have multiple seasons over 210. Several on this list are T.B.A. Hall of Famers.

Masters season averages above 220:  (Bowlers listed separately for each average.)

15 bowlers have averaged 220 with 6 having mutiple seasons. (# of 220 seasons

Are you a Who?

These 125 are! The questions is, do you know a who and if not why not?

By Alan Brizee (c)7/25/14  Author of The Path to Excellence and From Excellence to Success

The following are bowlers WHO have ever bowled in the Masters league and elected to Hall of Fames (shown in red), Tournament Champions and those who achieved super bowling accomplishments. This list is one of the reasons why the Masters league was one of Tucson’s best All-time league lasting over 15 seasons, 9 1/3 seasons while I was secretary. I was glad to be part of it and helped make the league, the best league for your buck by obtaining sponsors and promoting the league like no secretary has ever done in the past or has done since.

The Tucson Bowling Association has elected 57 bowlers into their Superior Performance Division and the Masters league had 32 of them, 56%, showed up to bowl. We had 2 PBA Hall of Famers bowl with us. One bowler was elected to their Hall of Fame from another association. This shows that the Masters league was not only competitive, but shows that the league attracted the best bowlers in the area. And for all 637 that did bowl, you made the Masters league, one of the highlights and most memorable league ever. Thanks to all who bowled. It was GREAT while it lasted.

There are 125 bowlers listed in this Who’s WHO which is 18.5% of the bowlers who participated on any given Masters night. There are 39 in a Hall of Fame, one third of the list were elected to a Hall of Fame, some due to service they performed while bowling. I know there are more bowlers that should be on the list, but I can only list the accomplishments that I know about.

Should your info be incorrect or you feel you should be on this list, message me and

I will be happy to update them.
